Much like a 7 layer
burrito left in a hot car, Skunkweed's many side projects continue to
evolve and grow. Unable to conquer the San Antonio music scene with the
traditional methods of talent, motivation, and performance quality, we
are instead attempting it through sheer quantity. Our eventual goal is
that on any given night, at any given bar, someone will be playing Open
Minded Redneck and begging for tips.
If you are
interested in starting a Skunkweed franchise in your area, please

Aurora
Boring Alice - Maestro Aurora, Charlie George, and Dave James
Recently formed acoustic supergroup featuring members of Skunkweed and The Psychoholics, already rocking a few choice venues around town. This is a band that has one of the world's balls in it's mouth, and is just waiting for a chance to bite down.
Cracka
McSambo - Jay Brown and Leon Waddy
Acoustic off-shoot, playing laid back versions of Skunkweed originals, as well as half-remembered versions of the 70s and 80s hits you love. Their haunting version of 'Wanted Dead or Alive' will get inside your head, and kick your head's ass.
Huskunkamanaweedimal - Maestro Aurora and Dave Jiminez
I just saw these guys rock it at
the Irish Pub a few nights ago, and my face was melted by the sheer
power of rock and roll. Weekly gigs are in the works right now, and if
you don't make it out to catch one, then you are kicking yourself in the
nuts. Musically speaking.
Skunkweed - Maestro Aurora, Jay Brown, James Cervantes, Dave James, Roger Garcia, and Leon Waddy. (the comedy value of seeing 6 people crammed on one stage is part of their charm)
If you don't know anything about SW, why are you here? Suffice to say that seeing SW play is like getting piss drunk and having hot sex with a gorgeous 8 foot tall woman made of pure rock and roll. Then afterwards she beats you unconscious with her enormous breasts.
There are actually several more on the master list, but
since I haven't gotten any gig info about them anytime recently, I am
gonna be lazy and not type it all out. That will show them.
